Office and Facilities Coordinator
We’re looking for a proactive Office & Facilities Coordinator to keep our Cambridge office running smoothly and safely. Join us!
As our Office & Facilities Coordinator, you’ll be onsite 5 days a week in our central Cambridge office owning the day-to-day office operations, looking after our facilities and suppliers, ensuring Health & Safety compliance and helping create a welcoming workplace that supports great employee experience.
This is a hands-on and people focused role for someone who enjoys being visible in the office and making things happen.
What’s involved?
Be the go-to person for office operations and day-to-day support
Manage facilities, suppliers and maintenance including any improvement projects
Ensure H&S compliances, safety checks and training coordination for fire wardens and first aiders
Liaise with finance on cost tracking and purchase orders
Support employee engagement initiatives, office and company events and seasonal activities
Maintain office systems (post, desk bookings, car parking logs, etc)
Support Wellness and Green initiatives
About you
You’ll need to be organised, proactive and enjoy creating a positive working experience. You should be confident with people, suppliers and stakeholders and happy working within a small team and independently when needed. You will also ideally have previous office, facilities and administration experience.
You’ll need a flexible and practical approach to problem-solving too - able to take on new challenges and tasks as they arise. This is a role with lots of variety, with no two days the same.
You will need to have experience of
Google suite and Microsoft office
Supplier and contract coordination for cleaners, maintenance and security companies
General office and administration experience
Coordinating events, as well as people and culture initiatives
Desirable experience in
In an office supervisory or administrative role which included Health and Safety responsibilities.
First aid and/or fire warden trained.
Who you’ll work with
Everyone in Cambridge Intelligence! But you will work especially closely with IT, finance, HR, Chief of Staff and suppliers.
